It is being reported by the Richmond Times-Dispatch that rising junior VCU Guard, Joey Rodriguez will be transferring from VCU.

The money quote, from Joey’s father:

“The biggest issue is the fact that Coach [Grant] is not there anymore,” Joe Rodriguez said. “He wants to try to finish up somewhere in Florida that will be closer to home. That’s always been an issue with Joey.”

   What a loss! This new coach is really going to have his work cut out for him.
