On April 17th, the Flying Squirrels faced the Reading Phillies at the Diamond. The Squirrels ended up losing 6-19 that day. The team is currently 8-9 on the season, just three games away from first place. The Squirrels will be on the road for a three-game series against Reading, but will return to the Diamond this Friday for a series against the New Britain Rock Cats.
