Jamie Skeen and Troy Daniels lead Charlotte past D-League Select

Former Rams Jamie Skeen and Troy Daniels lead Charlotte into the Las Vegas summer league semifinals with solid play against the NBA D-league Select team.

Jamie Skeen and Troy Daniels will never officially suit up in the Black & Gold again, but their basketball careers are from finished. Both players made progress towards their NBA dreams on Saturday while leading the Charlotte Bobcats past the NBA D-League Select team in the Las Vegas NBA summer league.

Skeen finished with 12 points, a game high 11 rebounds, and three steals while hitting three of his six 3-point attempts. Daniels finished with 13 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal.

Charlotte benched starters Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Jeff Taylor, Cody Zeller, and Bismack Biyombo giving Skeen and Daniels the opportunity to play more minutes.

Charlotte will play the top-seeded Golden State Warriors tonight in the semifinals at 8pm. The Warriors are led by former ODU guard Kent Bazemore who has dominated the league averaging 19.6ppg, 5rpg, and 1.6spg.
