• Former Virginia Union basketball coach  Dave Robbins  was inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. Dave Robbins is the winningest college basketball coach in Virginia History with a record of 693-175 (79.8%).
• Our hometown  Rams  (9-3, 1-2) travel to Philadelphia to take on Drexel (7-8, 2-1). Tip is at 7pm.
• The  Spiders  (11-4) are aslo traveling to Pennsylvania in an A-10 matchup against Duquesne (9-5). Tip is also at 7pm.
• Richmond football head coach  Latrell Scott  announced his first additions his staff. Read more about his new hires.
• The  Flying Squirrels  announced their coaching staff in a press conference yesterday: Andy Skeels (manager), Ross Grimsley (pitching coach), and Russ Moreman (hitting coach). Read more on West of the Boulevard News.

   GO SPIDERS. I am amused by the use of colored fonts and backgrounds for school colors here, though I’m sure some font/style purists will disagree.
