SPORTS!

As always, we’ll keep you posted if any of these games are canceled due to — yet again — inclement weather.

  • Assuming  the Rams  are already in NOVA and the game proceeds in spite of the anticipated weather, they’ll take on George Mason tonight at 7pm. There are only SIX games left in the regular season.
  •  VUU  takes on St. Paul’s College in Lawrenceville tonight at 7.30pm.
  • In a long series of if-then’s  Richmond’s Ukrops Park  may host a visting World Cup team if the USA wins the 2018 or 2022 World Cup. It’s complicated.

SPORTS! Continue despite the weather

  • All everything legend Bill Dudley passed away on Thursday. Dudley was member of the college football and NFL hall of fames, and the award for best Virginia college football player is named after him.
  • Today is The Game.  VCU’s  sold out matchup against in state rival ODU. Tip is at 4pm.
  •  Richmond  takes on #17 Temple at 2pm in the Robins Center. The game is still on and will be televised on ESPNU.
  •  VUU  takes on Bowie State University at 7.30pm. As you probably know VUU is on a 4 games streak, and has won 12 of 13.

SPORTS! VCU v. ODU sold out, sigh

One other thing, in addition to these bullets, today is National Signing Day. As kids commit, if there are any major surprises affecting  UR  (or maybe VT/UVa) I’ll let you know.

  • The  VCU  vs. ODU game this weekend has sold out. So, too bad if you were trying to get tickets this morning for probably the only game you could make it to. Yeah, way to wait on that one.
  • Tonight  VCU  takes UNC-Wilmington at 7pm. Maybe if you waited until today to buy tickets for this weekend’s game you could just drive down there?
  •  UR  travels up to Philly to battle St. Joseph’s. Tip is at 7pm.
