VCU Commencement on Saturday

Nearly 5,000 diplomas will be handed out Saturday morning, so be sure adjust your travels accordingly.

VCU will award nearly 5,000 degrees on Saturday, May 11th during its Spring 2013 commencement, which begins at 10:00 AM at the Richmond Coliseum. Teresa Carlson–Vice President, Worldwide Public Sector, Amazon for Amazon Web Services–will be the commencement speaker.

Parking will be available for a fee in decks and lots adjoining the Coliseum. Those traveling around the Coliseum way want to avoid the area due to the high-volume traffic.

Restaurants may be busier than usual on both Friday and Saturday nights this week as families celebrate graduations and Mother’s Day.
