Soon you might be able to enjoy a beer with your Starbuck’s latte

I’ll take a venti, decaf, soy latte, with an extra shot, with whipped cream, and a carmel drizzle but not too hot and a PBR on the rocks.

From RTD:

Two area Starbucks stores could soon offer wine, beer and small plates as part of the coffee chain’s “Starbucks Evenings” rollout.

The local stores — in the Huguenot Village shopping center at 2003 Huguenot Road in Chesterfield County and in the The Shoppes at Reynolds Crossing at Glenside and Forest avenues in Henrico County — have applied for Alcoholic Beverage Control licenses to sell wine and beer, one of the first steps in the “Evenings” process.

The coffee giant spies another market to venture flex its might. You’ll be happy to know that “Starbucks Evenings” will be offering up not only truffle mac & cheese but also a selection of delicious flatbread. Sample menu here (pdf).
