Pre-Turkey Day Game Night at Crossroads

Get ready for some gaming action before Thanksgiving.

On Thursday many of you will be trapped spend wonderful time with your family and a large roasted bird. This could be a good time to introduce your friends and family to the rabbit hole that is modern board/card games.

A great little game I picked up this weekend is Sushi Go. It plays with 3-5 people, easy to teach and takes only about a half hour to get through a game. It’s a simple card drafting game which can lead to more complicated card drafting games such as mega-hit 7 Wonders. Card drafting means that you’ll be given a hand select a card to make a set and then pass the card along and receive a new hand from someone else at the table. I linked both previous games to Amazon but they’re currently in stock at One Eyed Jacques in Carytown, I’m not so sure about the game below.

In other good gaming news Tabletop is back and two weeks ago started off the season with Tokaido. Check it out below and see if it appeals to your inner zen master.
