Police seek Family Dollar armed robber

Incident occurred Monday around 11:30 AM.

From the police report:

On Monday, September 29, 2014, at approximately 11:30 AM, officers responded to the Family Dollar in the 6000 block of Nine Mile Road for an attempted robbery. The suspect approached the adult female clerk, displayed a knife, and made demands. The suspect left the store without receiving any cash or merchandise. No injuries were reported.

The suspect can be seen in the attached surveillance photos. He is described as a male, 5’7”– 6”, 160–190 pounds, wearing a mask, grey gloves, a black hooded shirt, blue pants, and white tennis shoes.

Henrico County Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the subject responsible for this crime. Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by their tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
