Local biz wins TODAY Show contest

Looks like there’s no raining on RainRap’s parade.

On Friday, local company RainRap won the TODAY Show’s Bright Idea contest, which gave the RVA company a deal to sell their products on QVC. RainRap produces water-proof hooded shawls to serve as fashionable alternatives to raincoats.

The public voted the company with the best new product during TODAY’s Bright Idea contest with a 38 percent majority.
