Exxon/Circle K robbed not by a clown but old man or witch

Old man mask or witch mask, you make the call.

Update #1 — October 17, 2014; 9:14 AM

The police have released pictures form the robbery and although it was first mentioned that it was a clown mask they are now saying it’s an old man mask. Personally I believe it’s a witch mask but I don’t have the resources of a modern CSI lab that I’m sure RPD is accessing.

You’ll also notice that other details from the original crime have changed as well.

At approximately 7 p.m. Monday, a man wearing a mask and wig entered the store at 2753 W. Broad St. and robbed the business at gunpoint.

There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. The man wore a silver and gray wig and an old-man-type mask. He was last seen wearing grey trousers, a dark-colored shirt and sneakers.

Anyone with any information about these suspects’ identity or this crime is asked to call Third Precinct Detective Jack Larry at (804) 646-1647 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
