CNN to feature UR in State of the Union coverage

CNN will have cameras rolling at the University of Richmond tonight to gauge local opinion on the president’s big speech.

CNN’s coverage of tonight’s State of the Union address will include live reports from the University of Richmond campus. Roughly 35 area residents have been recruited by the news network to watch the speech and electronically record their opinions of it.

After the address, a CNN anchor will interview participants about what they liked and didn’t like about the president’s speech.

CNN’s coverage will begin at 7:00 PM. The State of the Union address begins at 9:00 PM.

    The Green Party of the United States will hold a special online broadcast of President Obama’s 2013 State of the Union address TONIGHT, Tuesday, February 12th. We will host a live chat during the address and response afterward.
