Church Hill Academy on the move to Fulton Hill
The move adds two classrooms.
RTD has a look at Church Hill Academy and it’s move to Fulton Hill. The reason is the need for more space.
“There wasn’t enough room. We couldn’t grow,” said Maio, who, as with all of their 12 full- and part-time staff, individually raises money for her salary. “I have my own office now. … There’s something about building a (sense of) location that makes a difference.”
Their capacity has increased from five to seven classrooms with potential for additional space as the school expands. The school year will begin Sept. 2 with 37 students from the East End.
