Bo and Diddley looking for a bit of help

Can you help catch these dogs?

Neighbors are looking for some help for two strays along riverside drive.

Two stray dogs (we named Bo & Diddley) are in urgent need of help. They came outta nowhere a few days ago, seeking shelter on our porch on Riverside Drive. No collars, 25 pounds-ish, black, adorable, and fiercely loyal to each other. The long-eared/long-coated one (Bo) is the fearless leader, the curly coated one (Diddley) is his defenseless follower. They have come horribly close to being hit during rush hour traffic while wandering from secret hideout to secret hideout like little fugitives on the run.

We have attached photos and are now designing a flyer to be distributed both online and throughout the neighborhood to see if anyone is missing them or wants to adopt them. We are in need of a humane trap/crate to set foodbowls in that will automatically lock behind them once entered. It’s the only shot we have of preventing a tragic ending. If we can contain them, we will then need a foster or forever home to transition them to, and are willing to help fund their new adventure. We strongly feel that they should remain together, less they wind up miserable and on the lam again. Besides, the pair would be an entertaining and heartwarming story forever in any family’s life.

You can contact us either by email or phone anytime to discuss. (mch@animaliving.com or 804-249-8938)

Thanks,
Robert & Marian Hurdelbrink
