7-11 near VCU robbed this morning
Incident occurred around 7:00 AM this morning.
Police say that at approximately 7:00 a.m., officers were called to the 7-Eleven store at 221 W. Main St. for a report of an armed robbery. An employee reported a black male entered the store, displayed a handgun and robbed the store.
He fled on foot towards Madison Street.
The suspect was 5 feet to 5 foot four inches tall and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
There were no injuries reported.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
