Sugar Shack shutters downtown shack

No doughnuts for you.

The year long experiment of providing good doughnuts to those downtown has come to a tragic end as Sugar Shack Coffee at 1110 E Main Street has closed.

The following message was posted to their Facebook page yesterday morning.

Sugar Shack Coffee will be closed indefinitely at this location. We will be re-imagining the idea and will be relocating late spring with a new vision and brand.

Both Sugar Shack Donuts locations remain open. We will also be opening in Fredericksburg and Midlothian soon.
