Win four years of college tuition

Tickets for the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s 3rd Annual College Tuition Raffle are now on sale.

Tickets for the Children’s Museum of Richmond’s third annual college tuition raffle are now on sale! The winner will receive an eight semester Tier 1 Virginia prePAID Tuition Contract.

If you’re like me, now you’re probably asking, “A Tier What now?” Well, according to the Virginia 529 College Savings Plan website, “A Tier I semester will cover one semester of tuition…at a Virginia public four-year college; when applied at a Virginia public two-year or community college will cover MORE than a semester of tuition.”

Only 10,000 tickets will be sold. Here’s the price breakdown…

  • 1 ticket for $45
  • 2 tickets for $85
  • 5 tickets for $200
  • 10 tickets for $350

There is no limit to the number of tickets an individual can purchase. The proceeds from the raffle will benefit CMoR exhibits, programs, and [mission][mission] to “inspire the potential in every child.”

The winning ticket will be drawn on Tuesday, June 30th between noon and 1:00 PM. You do not need to present for the drawing; CMoR will contact the winner via phone that day.

Raffle tickets are available for purchase at all CMoR locations and online. Both online tickets sales and ticket sales at CMoR locations will end at 5:00 PM on Monday, June 29th.
