Tickets on sale for Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre 2015-2016 season

Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre’s 2015-2016 doesn’t kick off until October, but single tickets are now on sale. Let’s get ahead on some plans for the fall, shall we?

As Virginia Rep’s Children’s Theatre readies to close out the 2014-2015 season with this week’s premiere of Goodnight Moon, they’re already getting the ball rolling on prep for 2015-2016.

Single tickets for next season’s lineup went on sale July 1st, so those of you who like to plan ahead can go ahead and start filling up that calendar. Here’s what they’ve got for us…

The House at Pooh Corner

  • October 14th – November 15th, 2015
  • Suggested for ages 6 and up
  • 1 hour

The Velveteen Rabbit

  • December 1st, 2015 – January 3rd, 2016
  • Suggested for ages 5 and up
  • 1 hour

I Have a Dream

  • January 27th – February 14th 2016
  • Suggested for ages 7 and up
  • 1 hour

Croaker: The Frog Prince Musical

  • March 9th – April 17th, 2016
  • Suggested for ages 6 and up
  • 1.5 hours

The Little Engine that Could

  • July 8th – July 31, 2016
  • Suggested for ages 3 and up
  • 1 hour

All performances will take place at the Children’s Theatre at Willow Lawn (1601 Willow Lawn Drive). Ticket prices vary by show but typically fall in the $16-$20 range. If you and the family are really into live theater, you might want to consider becoming subscribers. Subscriptions get you tickets to each show of the season at about 25% off.
