Here are some shows I’m hustling at Balliceaux this week…
Monday is story time when Secretly Y’all presents, “Acts of Courage”. The floor will be open to any & all storytellers after the pre-designated yarn spinners say their respective pieces. On Wednesday, the Beach Boys meets emo on the dance floor sound of Black Girls kicks against the pricks for your listening pleasure. NO BS Brass Band struts their funky stuff on Thursday, the best Roy C inspired Southern Soul singer you probably have never heard before (and sometime WCLM 1450 AM DJ), Big “G” brings his south side R&B seductions on Friday and the post-punk dance party, NO RICHMOND rocks the disco/funk/noise/punk aggression on Saturday.
