Liner Notes:
Here are some shows I’m hustling at Balliceaux this week…
Tonight, GHOSTDOG & CINNAMON, the one-man band many people consider to be better than the Beatles, Venom & Wilson Phillips combined, plays to a screaming, mostly female audience entranced by the elusive star’s titillating brand of melodic pop seduction. MIRAMAR brings the sad & beautiful on Tuesday, THE NO BS BRASS BAND kicks out the full throttle, funky brass on Thursday and on Friday, THE PHOTOSYNTHESIZERS fill the back room with soulful, hip-hop inspirations. Saturday night, TEFLON JONNY PRESENTS CLUB STIMULUS to promote a little 21st century body moving.
NEXT NEW SHOW:08/30/10
The complete set list for this week’s show is postedhere. All previous show set lists (116 as of this writing) are on my blog. If you hate MySpace (and who doesn’t), look me up on Facebook. I post track listings there as well.
