Liner Notes:
I’m mad at Christianity this week. Not that I’m not always disgusted with the superstition, but with the recent, “retardation is God’s retribution for abortion” comment from Manassas Del. Robert G. Marshall coupled with Gov. Bob McDonnell’s omission of sexual preference in his executive order banning discrimination of state workers, I am reminded of 2nd American President John Adam’s when he said, “the divinity of Jesus has made a convenient cover for absurdity.”
So ladies and gentlemen, if you are a faint of heart Christian, do not press play on this podcast. It will only upset you. If you do press play despite this warning and get upset, you only have yourself to blame.
Here are some shows I’m helping to put on at Balliceaux this week.
Fight The Big Bull tame the raging beast this Wednesday and on Friday, The Flesh Mountain Boys kick out the gansta-grass for your listening/drinking enjoyment. Both shows are free and open to anyone aged 21 years or older.
NEXT NEW SHOW: 3/8/10
The complete set list for this week’s show is posted here. All previous show set lists (93 as of this writing) are on my blog. If you hate MySpace (and who doesn’t?), look me up on Facebook. I post track listings there as well.
2 hours of Bopst Show programming airs Sundays, 10AM-12PM (EST-USA), on KAOS Radio Austin.

Boo. Boo, Boo, Boo! That 700 Club clip stole my soul in 7 minutes, 32 seconds. Lies. Total lies. Gays are NOT given equal civil rights without the right to marry. There are TONS of rights (most say over 1,000) NOT afforded to unmarried partnerships in Virginia. Social Security and workplace benefits just to name two. I was “married” in a non-religious ceremony. Why can’t others? And if a church, SEPARATED from our government, is willing to offer religious ceremonies to same-sexed couples, why can’t it? Boo!! That vote was NOT a simple “positive affirmation of marriage.” It was a vote AGAINST an entire group of American Citizens. Shame on McDonnell and anyone who voted for the amendment.
