Liner Notes:

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week, Fight The Big Bull are playing a special three-day engagement at Balliceaux to celebrate the release of their new CD, “All is Gladness in the Kingdom” on Clean Feed Records. To commemorate this glorious occasion in true Blue Note fashion, each night (featuring different sets of music) is being recorded for future commercial release. On Friday (and if the Icelandic volcano allows), the one and only Louis Barabbas will be making his first solo stateside appearance in our fair humble southern abode. The guy is the proverbial cat’s meow in his native England and I am giddy with excitement to see this guy in the flesh. He is a truly amazing performer (see above) and you would be ever so foolish to miss him. Soul Power closes out the week’s musical festivities on Saturday.

All shows are free.

NEXT NEW SHOW: 05/17/10
