Sprout’s new winter menu

A new menu and expanded hours are a good reason to check out Sprout’s localvore dedication to all-Virginia food. A small breakfast menu is available until 2 pm and lunch and dinner are now offered from 11am until 10pm. Brunch is served Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.

A new menu and expanded hours are a good reason to check out Sprout’s localvore dedication to all-Virginia food. A small breakfast menu is available until 2 pm and lunch and dinner are now offered from 11am until 10pm. Brunch is served Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.

Good cold-weather options include the roasted winter vegetables sandwich with vegan ricotta and greens for $8 or the chicken, cheddar, apple and greens sandwich for $9. All sandwiches are served with Sprout chips and pickled veggies.

Entrees include braised pork with garlic turnip puree and sautéed greens for either $13 or $24 and Parisienne gnocchi with smoked ham and cauliflower cream sauce for $11 or $18. Daily chalkboard specials and desserts round out the menu.

Drink specials are available Monday through Friday from 3pm to 8pm. Sprout also hosts local art shows and live music frequently.

A “Date Right” coupon is available on their Facebook page, offering an appetizer, two entrees and dessert for two for $35. Sprout is also featured on
today’s (December 7) Groupon.
