Virginia Rep: Spring Break Camp

Designed for kids kindergarten through 5th grade, this camp promises days filled with creative drama, movement, and music in addition to a mix of theatre-related arts and crafts. The campers will get to see the company’s professional production of Treasure Island, and THEN, on the last day of camp, they will perform selections from the show for friends and family.

  • $275 ($225 for each additional sibling)

Archaeology at Henricus: Spring Break Camp

This week-long program gives kids ages 8 through 12 the chance to learn about the tools and strategies used to help locate and excavate sites. Campers will sort, catalogue, and clean artifacts found in the area and take a field trip to an active archeological site.

  • $200 ($180 for Henricus Patrons)

The First Tee Chesterfield: Spring Break Camp

First Tee’s Chesterfield location will host two camps where your kids will get quality golf instruction: one for 5- and 6-year-olds and one for kids 7 and older.

  • April 6th – 10th • 9:30 -11:00 AM for ages 5 and 6; 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM for ages 7 and older
  • The First Tee Chesterfield, 6736 Huntingcreek Drive
  • $50 for ages 5 and 6; $135 for ages 7 and older

Mad Science Spring Break Camp

Campers (grades 1 through 5) will enjoy a full day of interactive, hands-on science activities as they explore chemical reactions, build rockets, construct their own robots, and more!

  • April 6th – 10th • 9:00 – 4:00 PM
  • Mad Science Lab, 5500 Cox Road
  • $250 (mid-morning and afternoon snack provided)

Engineering for Kids

Choose between “How Amusing” where campers will create (and compete with) their own theme park or “Minecraft: Traveling to the Future,” a week-long Minecraft intensive where students rely on the engineering design process to solve a series of challenges in an apocalyptic future. Intended for kids ages 7 to 14.

  • April 6th – 10th • full-day, morning-only, and afternoon-only options available
  • Richmond/Midlothian Learning Center, 11307 Polo Place, Suite D
  • $165 for half day; $300 for full day

SCOR: Indoor Soccer Spring Break Camps

Sports Center of Richmond (SCOR) is offering two Spring Break camp options: Soccer Skills Camp for ages 8 to 16 and All Sports Camp (where they’ll play basically everything) for ages 5 to 15.

  • April 6th – 10th • full-day (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and half-day (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) options available
  • SCOR, 1385 Overbrook Road
  • $70 per day for full-day; $35 per day for half-day (bring lunch or purchase for $6 each day)
