Bearer Farms makes local honey from nearly 250 hives across the Richmond Region. On the farm property sits the remnants of one of Louisa County’s oldest structures. Built in 1784, the building was later used to manufacture buttons for the uniforms of Confederate soldiers, and the site was later used to pack tobacco before being shipped to Richmond via the James River.
