Ongoing coverage of Hands on Greater Richmond
October 17, 2009
Today’s the day, RVA! Hundreds of your fellow Richmonders are getting together to take part in HandsOn Day 2009, a city-wide effort to show this town some love. Service projects are going on all around the city, and we’ll be publishing coverage of it throughout the day.
If you’re taking part in HandsOn 2009 and would like to contribute to our coverage, here’s what you can do:
- Tag your tweets and Flickr images with HOGR09 (that’s the letters H, O, G, and R, followed by the numbers zero and nine).
- If you don’t have a Flickr account but want to share your pictures with us, send them to info@rvanews.com.
- And last but not least, come back and leave some comments about the happenings in your part of town!

Thanks to Hands On Greater Richmond and Friends of Paradise Park, we have an awesome and beautiful park with just enough liriope! I think we will all be hurting tomorrow but it looks fantastic and the replanting along the alley looks great too! More than I could have ever hoped for– thanks Alison for getting volunteers to us!
