Oh, the Duggars. God bless their spiritual devotion and I really love the compound cut all the girls wear (hair and clothes)...but how many of these cabbages are going to end up on the wrong end of a crack stem when they first hear a Bill Hicks album and deside to drop out of junior bible college?

I always thought that any contest that made little girls look like hookers was something created to satisfy the inner pedophile of some creep who still lives in his mom's basement but could not afford the internet...

As for reality shows... well, they are anything but. Scripted, forced drama that makes us glad we are not them. The real reality is the networks have 24 hours of programing to fill and only about 15 minutes of real entertainment to do it with.

What's the matter TLC could'nt find a little couple that bakes delicious cookies in a tree? Way to promote negitive stereotypes!

I never... well almost never... get past the Food Network. I can hardly wait until they have Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on 24/7. Though lately I kinda like Man vs. Food on the Travel Network.

I honestly believe that TLC has turned into "train-wreck" television.

Oh..wait a minute...Cake Boss is coming on. Gotta run!

Also I just realized the title of this should be: OMGTLCWTFRVA a la these guys (http://omgwtfrva.net/) who started strong but haven't posted since last year (get on the posting guys). Though the picture of Chad spread eagle there on the last article makes it worth the visit.

RVA news, are comments HTML able? Sometimes a girl wants to ahref a link.

You are so right. I was just realizing I'd never have seen this many little people in my life if it weren't for TLC. I cannot watch the Toddlers & Tiaras for the creepy/sad factor, but I too also enjoy a superlative show.

But really, I live for all the ghost hunting shows on cable.

I remember when TLC aired documentaries, from which I actually learned. Discovery too. Then again back in those days we didn't have running water and I walked to school barefoot, in the snow, both ways, backwards. Whippersnappers.

Although I do enjoy Little Couple and I did watch the one where the man was turning into a tree.............and I am kind of a sucker for Little People, Big World.........but that's it. That's all I watch!

Unless they have a weird documentary on Sex and then I am all ears.

OMG this whole article is the reason why I love TLC. Then you get shows that are 'The man's whos arm exploded' which turns out to be really lame and stupid.. lay of the steriods!

What really bugs me out of all the little people shows, I CANNOT stand Littlist Chocolatiers. She annoys me to no end and their stuff is kind meh. lol
Now give me little people, big world or the other one where she is a dr and I am onboard.

I can't touch the Duggar one, the fact that she will probably try and pop out more kids while baby #19 is in NICU after being born at 23 weeks and that Michelle may die from baby #20 makes me angry and sad.

Toddlers and Tiara's makes my head hurt and I totally agree with you.

Now.. have you been watching A&E lately? lol
