Where once there stood pasta now stands tacos. Lalo’s Cocina Bar & Grill opened this past month in the old Pan e Vino spot (2617 W. Broad Street). The menu appears to be your standard Tex-Mex with most lunch entrees in the $7 – $9 range and the steak and seafood dinner options in the $14 – $16 range.

Gelati Celesti, a Richmond ice cream staple for 30 years, opened its third shop in The Corner at Short Pump, near Kroger. The first location opened in Gold’s Gym Plaza at W.
