Fight the Big Bull's Matt White said today that the band's bi-weekly gig is being relocated to the new restaurant Balliceaux, effective November 4. The band will continue performing every other Wednesday as they have been doing in the past -- for "three years and counting," says their website -- at Cous Cous. Ombak, which currently trades Wednesdays with Fight the Big Bull at Cous Cous, is unaffected by this change.

White said Cous Cous management was no longer able to continue hosting the band every other week and instead wanted a monthly event. White subsequently approached Balliceaux's music booker Chris Bopst, who welcomed the thought of hosting the band.

Balliceaux is the new ultra-hip restaurant that lies on the spot that once jazz mecca Bogart's previously inhabited at 203 N. Lombardy in the Fan. Their doors opened in August, and so far they have presented music acts like Amazing Ghost, Miramar, and Fuzzy Baby, none in a regularly occurring capacity.

Ho there, reader of RSS feeds!
