Favorites: Max’s on Broad’s Thai coconut curry moules-frites

The atmosphere of Max’s on Broad is charming and transporting, evocative of old European brasseries. Much of the menu is appropriately Belgian and French, such as the classic moule-frites ($13). The Thai coconut curry sauce is aromatically intoxicating with sweet and tangy notes alike. It’s a meal fit both for its setting and for inspiring wanderlust as you gaze out of the tall windows of the upstairs dining room.
