Favorites: Heritage’s Bacon, Egg, and Cheese

Editor’s note: This is the first edition of Favorites, a new semi-regular food column on RVANews. We’ll feature a beautiful picture and a short description of our favorite dishes at our favorite restaurants. It’s like a visual cheat sheet for where and what you should eat next!

Joe Sparatta’s “Bacon, Egg, and Cheese” ($8) has all the classic breakfast sandwich flavors in a dinner medium plate. These flavors are layered from bottom to top as follows: smokey tomato, slow-cooked soft egg, cheese foam, bagel chip with “everything bagel” seasoning, house-made bacon, and chives to garnish.

This dish is so much of what I enjoy about Heritage: the best versions of familiar tastes and smells delivered through inventive forms and presentations.

  1. Sounds delicious. Somehow the picture doesn’t seem to do it justice though!
