Carolina Ale House, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based chain, made its first foray into the Virginia market with a new location in Short Pump that opened last week. The restaurant and sports bar features over 70 beers on draft, including local craft brews. Almost 100 varieties are available by the bottle.

The restaurant also features a total of 46 flat screen televisions showing all major sporting events, and an expansive game area features pool tables, video games, pinball machines, and foosball tables.

Carolina Ale House took over the building that formerly housed Mimi’s Café at 11275 West Broad Street in West Broad Village.
