I've worked at a movie theater before (Carmike, hey-oh!) and I've had to get customers to knock off their disruptive behavior. Sure, it was scary as a small 17-year-old girl to have to take on these often angry adults, but very few of them continued the behavior once being called out on it. Once I had to confiscate an entire bag of Wendy's food from two huge dudes because, you know, outside food isn't allowed. I thought they were going to murder me. But I'm still here to tell the tale. I'm going to start brow beating 16 yr old ushers every time someone tries to play Mystery Science Theater 3000 with my $10 movie ticket. The Bowtie announcement even asks you not to text message! Bowtie promised movie bouncers, let's insist they make good on it. Since the movie sucked anyway you should have complained, they are supposed to ask the guy to stop.
