Talking about and then not going to the VCU French Film festival is a tradition for me. Though the short films are always fun.

There was so much culture that I gave up and just watched basketball literally all weekend long, except for the times that I was playing it. But maybe next year, French Film Festival. Maybe next year.

Yeah I decided to do Irish Festival one day and French Film Festival the other day. I probably should have just remembered that the Irish one is kind of a let down and done two days of France instead.

You should have seen “Michou d’Auber” and “J’aurais voulu etre un danseur.” They were amazing.

The problem with the festival is that they never seem to understand that it’s insanely popular and they take forever to get started. They don’t open the balcony until the entire floor is filled.

But I do love watching the French people invade Carytown.

At least one thing didn’t happen; I did not win any major awards, only very minor ones like “Most Likely to Succeed at Losing Someone Else’s Job.”

Weird.

I haven’t been to the French Film Festival in a few years. It’s strange that I used to go when I didn’t live here and now that I do, I don’t.
