A multi-million dollar renovation project, which also included the addition of over 20 new retail stores and restaurants, is complete.

Short Pump Town Center, just over a decade old, received a multi-million dollar makeover in 2014, and the changes are finally complete.

The newly renovated center has undergone a dramatic transformation with the addition of many new features. Changes include new landscaping, walkways lit with hanging lanterns, new gathering spaces, fountains, a new pedestrian bridge spanning the Main Plaza, additional covered bridges, updated restrooms, a centrally located glass elevator, a new children’s play area in the Food Court, and an outdoor play area in the Main Plaza, in addition to what the center calls a ‘feature fireplace.’

“Short Pump Town Center is about more than just exceptional shopping and entertainment,” said E. Kemel Blue, vice president and general manager of the center. “It’s a place to spend the day with family and friends…in a beautiful outdoor setting…over the holidays and throughout the new year.”

Along with popular anchor stores such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, Dillard’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods, Short Pump Town Center features over 140 other retail shops and restaurants.

More than 20 new retailers opened their doors in 2014, including kate spade new york, Michael Kors, Madewell, Free People, True Religion, VANS, Oakley, The Art of Shaving, TUMI, Sephora, Lush, Soft Surroundings and Versona Accessories, among others.

In addition, Apple, Aldo, American Eagle Outfitters, Buckle, Cache, Hollister, Justice, Things Remembered and The Children’s Place remodeled or expanded to enhance the shopping experience for patrons.
