The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus gets a new bike from West End shop

Classified Moto was up to the task of building the show a heavily modified 1992 Honda CB750 Nighthawk.

Norman Reedus, whom you may know better as the venerable Daryl Dixon on AMC’s The Walking Dead, finally got a new motorcycle after losing it last season, thanks to the help of a team in Henrico County.

The heavily modified 1992 Honda CB750 Nighthawk, which made its debut on last Sunday’s episode, was custom built by Manchester shop Classified Moto. The builder detailed the extensive work it took to build the chopper on their website.

The year 2014 is one we won’t soon forget here at Classified Moto. First we built a custom XV920R for the amazing Norman Reedus. Then he introduced us to creative powerhouse Scott M. Gimple who was looking for a custom bike for the show he runs — maybe you’ve heard of it — AMC’s “The Walking Dead.”

We’ve got love for all things post-apocalyptic and have been avid fans of the show from the get-go. So when Scott said he wanted us to build a bike to replace Daryl Dixon’s lost chopper, we thought we had died, then turned, then died again, then gone to heaven.

AMC also put out a YouTube video in which Reedus shows off his new ride, which can be seen below.
