The Viceroy closing doors for a week for menu revamp, rebrand

The year-old Devil’s Triangle restaurant plans more approachable, casual menu options with relaunch.

The Viceroy is closing its doors at the end of business today for a menu revamp and restaurant rebrand, according to a Facebook post sent to fans this morning.

The restaurant, located in the Devil’s Triangle area of the Museum District (in the former space long occupied by Cafe Diem) at 600 North Shepard Street, will feature a new menu when they reopen on Monday, July 28th.

According to co-owner Sean McClain, the current menu wasn’t connecting with customers. He told Richmond.com in an interview today that the new offerings will be more casual and approachable.

The restaurant opened last summer.

It’s also worth mentioning that Viceroy plans to offer their large selection of craft beers at a special price to clear inventory this evening.
