This week's episode hasn't shown up in my iTunes feed yet. Is there a problem on my end or Apple's?

Yeah i was lookin around for the Itals horn section, i figure they didnt have the budget to bring the horns with them but i thought the keyboard player was great and he played with alot of feeling. I hated to see the festival end. In Utopia theres a folk festival everyday.
Did you know rastafarians smoke weed as part of their religion so in a way they are religiously prosequted in our country, this irritates me or IREtates me. They say smokein the ganja enables them to be closer to god. Whats your thoughts?

Yeah, that is pretty stupid. The only thing I didn't like about the Itals was the keyboard sound. Ouch...

My favorite show of the festival was Vieux Farka Toure. He's no Julian Lennon that's for sure. Others that were great were Dale Watson, The San Taiko and Nukarik.

Can't wait for next year...

so what zzzzz, i like fashion. maybe if you had some style you would understand. Do you think Pelosi has the same plastic surgeon as michael jackson? btw- the Itals kicked butt at folk fest, it was great roots reggae, the bass and beat were world class and the singer kevin Porter had a real sweet stage presence, and all the band members had on real nice rastafarrian threads and dreads. Guess what some young kids thought it was a good time to fire up a spliff and all of a sudden the lights went up and someone got busted, but then the show went on. what shows did you see that you thought were good?

at least the emphasis during a Pelosi speech would be on what she has to say instead of the way she looks when she says it...

you should stick to women you can get like Hillary, when you hear her speak you can get all excited for hours. You should go to Obama's church, you could hear some uplifting things about America, Im sure rev. wright is more your type. Or go have a conversation with Bill Ayers about how communist slavery is better than capitalist freedom. I'm sure youd find these a-holes really punky and smart and uplifting. Youre a moron, how could you be so blind and dumb? drugs

Just got back from the Sarah Palin rally (not kidding). God lord, that was funny. Hank Williams Jr. did the single worst rendition of, "God Bless America" I have ever heard. As bad as that was, it was infinitely more appealing than anything Palin had to say. It was everything she has said before only with, “Richmond”, and “Virginia” added to distinguish it from her other stump speeches.

The whole event was more like going to a fan club meeting than a political rally. One kid was carrying a sign that said, "I'm voting for the chick" and he was getting high fives from everyone and posing for pictures as his mother looked on approvingly. Awesome. I overheard at least ten dudes as I was walking through the crowd saying how much they wanted to drill Palin. "Man, I'd f%#@k her all night" was the sentiment I heard most. Now I know why they all get so excited when they chant, “Drill, Baby, Drill”. They all want to f%@k her even the women. I heard several women remark about how beautiful they thought she was and all the female comments I heard had more to do with her appearance and her fashion choices than her actual politics. “She just always looks great, “one elderly woman told me who wore a pink blouse covered with Palin buttons and stickers, “she is exactly what this country needs.” Her daughter added that, “Palin is a mom and she understands how things work”. With that, I just smiled and walked away.

The whole event just seemed really sad to me. The people who support her aren’t stupid or evil; they are just people who want to believe that the America is always right and always winning. When I engaged people in conversation, I just let them talk because I genuinely wanted to hear what they had to say. And that’s where the sadness comes in. It just seemed that the people I talked to had a desperate need to hear what they wanted to hear regardless if it was true or not. They needed conformation that they were good people fighting the good fight and Palin said everything to placate that need. All political rallies are placation events, but this one used platitudes like medication. Her folksy voice and catch phases sedated the masses more than they inspired them. It all seemed rather depressing. People began leaving in droves after Palin talked for about 10 minutes. The excitement was over.
