Specialty Carytown veterinarian practice moving, tripling in size

Helping Hands Veterinary Surgery and Dental Care is moving to the Hermitage Road Historic Warehouse District.

A Carytown veterinarian practice is tripling its size and on the move due to high demand for its services.

Jackie Morasco and Lori Pasternak, owners of Helping Hands Veterinary Surgery and Dental Care, are moving from 3402 West Cary Street to 1605 Rhoadmiller Street, near Hardywood Park Craft Brewery.

The practice, which specializes in surgery and advanced dental services for pets, is unique in that none of its procedures exceed $1,000, and the business offers flexible options and special discounts for those who cannot afford life-saving surgery for their companion animals.

Read more about their plans for both the new location and former building from Richmond BizSense and check out a segment below from Good Morning America in 2010, in which ABC News’ Ron Claiborne visited and worked as a veterinarian’s assistant.
