Parham Doctors’ Hospital now offering comprehensive adolescent treatment program

The program will focus on issues of adolescent depression, anxiety, school phobias, anger management, and other problems.

HCA Virginia’s Parham Doctors’ Hospital recently opened its new Center for Emotional Growth Adolescent Partial Hospitalization program, which will provide a flexible treatment option for those who need more structure but do not require inpatient treatment.

Directed towards adolescents from 12 to 18 years of age, the program includes treatment of patients struggling with depression, anxiety, school phobias, anger management, social withdrawal, aggressiveness, mood swings, self-injurious behavior, and sexual abuse/assault.
