Pace will be playing &lt;em&gt;The Colbert Report&lt;/em&gt; on Monday, June 20 and &lt;em&gt;Late Night with Jimmy Fallon&lt;/em&gt; on Tuesday, June 21. “I’m super excited.”&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pace is known in Richmond for being a founding member of the &lt;a href=&quot;http://nobsbrass.com/&quot;&gt;NO BS! Brass Band&lt;/a&gt;, a group that has made itself a local staple through their original compositions and covers of modern classics.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pace met Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, a play on the the French phrase &lt;em&gt;bon hiver&lt;/em&gt; meaning good winter, this past fall while playing a festival at Duke University to  One month later, Pace received a phone call while driving to Richmond Music Center, where he works. It was Vernon.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;“‘I want you to be a part of this,’” said the Bon Iver frontman, recalls Pace. “It was crazy,” he adds. “It was an awesome phone call.”&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pace has been rehearsing with Bon Iver for the last ten days. The band’s upcoming nationally televised performances will support the June 21 release of a &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.amazon.com/Bon-Iver/dp/B004XE0P5E/ref=ntt_mus_dp_dpt_1&quot;&gt;new self-titled album&lt;/a&gt;.
