Henrico Police seek Lafayette Avenue robbery suspect

From Henrico Police:

On Wednesday, August 25, 2015, at approximately 8:10 AM, officers responded to a business in the 3000 block of Lafayette Avenue for a commercial robbery.  The suspects, one armed with a handgun and the other a hammer, entered the business and approached the victims and demanded money.  The suspects forced the victims into the office area where the victims relinquished currency.  The suspects then forced the victims to the floor and bound their arms prior to fleeing the business.  No injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as black males, between 5’8” and 5’10”, and having a slim build.

Henrico County Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the subjects responsible for this crime.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by their tip.  Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
