Growing nonprofit doubling size with new studio space in Scott’s Addition

Studio Two Three will expand into a 7,500-square-foot building in Scott’s Addition next April.

A local non-profit is set to double its art class space with a new location in Scott’s Addition.

Studio Two Three, which offers a variety of design, digital, and analog printing classes, will move to a new building at 3300 West Clay Street in April.

Studio Two Three started in Manchester and later expanded to its current space on West Main Street in The Fan. The Scott’s Addition space will be 7,500-square-feet and allow for expanded classroom space, among other needs the growing studio has.

The building’s owner, Chris Johnson, said of the space, “The space leased very fast. Scott’s Addition is quickly becoming a creative and cool area that has a nice mix of residents, retail, office, industrial.”

The non-profit plans to try and offset the approximately 20,000 in moving and renovation expenses with a crowdfunding campaign.
