    Considering that Ukrop’s sells cigarettes, shouldn’t they get into the alcohol business as well? Playing the moral high card no longer applies…

  3. I am not a fan of Ukrop’s or Food Lion, and given the choice, this unemployed dude shops at Kroger.
    However – there are both a Ukrop’s and FoodKitty (as my wife lovingly refers to it) within a mile or two from our house. Guess where I’ve been going lately? Sunday or otherwise, the joblessness makes me want cheap beer. And cheap food.
    Dirty, cheap food.
    But, damn, if I don’t miss a Ukrop’s salad bar every now and then.
