The 2014 Richmond Folk Festival poster reveal event
Get a gander at the new poster before the rest of Richmond.
With childlike anticipation I look forward every year to the new Richmond Folk Festival. Some are instant hits to my taste and get framed and placed on the wall within a month or two and some are still waiting that process. Regardless of where they end up in my house I’m always excited to see a post come out because it means the best music festival in Richmond is just around the corner.
This year’s artist is Leslie Herman and on Tuesday, October 30th, from 5:30 – 7:00 PM he’ll be showing off the new poster at the Glave Kocen Gallery (1620 W. Main Street). The event is free and open to the public.
Also at the gallery will be artists from year’s past and in some cases they’ll be displaying the original artwork from their posters. Signed limited edition prints of various pieces will be available.
