Sufjan Stevens softly steals into the Altria Theater

Sufjan Stevens! You either love him, hate him, are neutral towards him, or have never heard of him. You know, all the possible options.

This Detroit-based singer-songwriter does some pretty fun antics and makes music that’s often described as “beautiful.” He gets some eye rolls sometimes for being religious, but his music, by any stretch of the imagination, could not be described as Christian Rock. So if that’s what you’re into, he is probably not the guy for you. And if you can’t get over your own eye rolls, he’s probably not the guy for you, either.

Sufjan has a new album coming out and he’ll be here to convince you to buy it. And the convincing should be a very, very pleasant process for your ears. And maybe even your heart.

Definitely your ears, though.
