How smart is Richmond?
October 12, 2009
The Daily Beast recently ranked 55 of American’s largest cities based on the intelligence* of their residents.
Richmond grabbed 27th place, tying with Pittsburgh and Los Angeles… the middle of the list, but somewhat respectable.
Meanwhile, Raleigh-Durham, NC nabbed the top spot while Fresno, CA scored last place by a landslide.
For more on what factors they used to determine each city’s intelligence, stop by the original post. I wanted to break it down for you here, but I wasn’t quite smart enough. I mean, I *am* from Richmond.

I wonder if they could have been more brief in their description of how Richmond received its ranking? All that reading hurt my little hayed.

Stupid Democrats. If we were more Republican, like San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose (#2) or Boston (#3) or Hartford-New Haven (#6), we might have ranked higher.

Isn’t there any place where idiotic political discussions will NOT happen, where people will not attack each other for what political persuasion they are? Go away, and please take your attacks with you.
