Hey, nonprofits! Want some free PR assistance?
March 8, 2010
Members of the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s public service committee is offering free (FREE!) public relations assistance for one area nonprofit this year.
For consideration, the organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that needs public relations assistance with a specific 2010 project or event.
Applications are due Friday, April 2. The winner will be notified on April 9.
If you’re interested in applying or just want to learn more, check out the PRSA website or contact Public Service Committee Chairperson Ryan Smartt by calling 804-827-2002 or by e-mail at rsmartt@connectnetwork.org.

1. Prevent a Litter Veterinary Hospital says:
The mission of Prevent A Litter Veterinary Hospital is to eliminate the killing of healthy, otherwise adoptable, dogs and cats in area shelters simply because they are “surplus” and cannot be placed in loving homes. We plan to accomplish this goal by providing affordable, accessible spay/neuter services to anyone in need, irregardless of income or geographical location, thereby preventing the birth of unwanted animals.
