Author Michael Hearst coming to Chop Suey Books this Saturday

Expect a reading, a musical performance, and–according to his tweets–cookies.

Author, musician, and Richmond native Michael Hearst will be in town from Brooklyn, New York this Saturday at Chop Suey Books to read an excerpt from his new book Extraordinary People.

Hearst will be at the Carytown book store from 4:00-5:00 PM Saturday, May 23rd.

A musician at heart, Hearst has recorded and released over a dozen albums, some with his band, One Ring Zero, others under his own name. As such, he will also play a few songs as part of his Chop Suey appearance.
