Aretha Franklin concert cancelled

Those who’ve bought tickets for the November 17th performance will get full refunds.

Aretha Franklin’s November 17th performance at the Altria Theater has been cancelled “due to scheduling conflicts,” wrote a theater spokesperson in an email this afternoon.

Regarding refunds, here’s an excerpt from the email:

Tickets purchased with a credit card will be refunded automatically. For cash purchases, please return tickets to the Richmond CenterStage box office. The box office is open Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

The Queen of Soul will perform at the Altria Theater on November 17th. Tickets go on sale August 8th.

One of the most recognizable voices in American music history, Aretha Franklin was named the #1 Vocalist of All Time by Rolling Stone magazine. In 2005, George W. Bush presented Franklin with eh Presidential Medal of Freedom. She’s also the recipient of 18 Grammy Awards, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Aretha Franklin will perform at the Altria Theater on Monday, November 17th at 8:00 PM.

Tickets ($69.50 – $125) go on sale Friday, August 8th at 10:00 AM and can be purchased at the Richmond CenterStage box office, online, or by phone at 800.514.3849.
